On July 23, 2021, the National Health Authority (NHA) released a Consultation Paper on the Unified Health Interface (UHI) to invite public comments on the design and functionality of the UHI. The objective of creating a UHI is to provide a foundational technical layer for the various Building Blocks within the National Digital Health Mission (NDHM). To this end, the UHI is expected to expand the interoperability of digital health services across India through the use of open protocols. The last date to submit responses to the NHA was August 23, 2021.
