The Committee on Non Personal Data released its report in July 2020, for public comments. Aapti Institute submitted a response, discussing the feasibility of the Report’s suggestions on Data Trusts, Data Trustees, Custodians, and how these interact with each other. The Report also implies the powers of these bodies to require mandatory data sharing under certain conditions.
